My Story
Meet Jeff Collins
The craftsman behind Collins Guitar Works.
Owner of Collins Guitar Works
A lifelong passion for guitars and craftsmanship.
Collins Guitar Works is owned by Jeff Collins, whose path into guitar work started with a serious commitment to learning the craft the right way.
In 2009, Jeff attended Atlanta Guitar Works School of Luthiery, where he completed an immersive two-month program. The training ran six days a week and gave him hands-on experience in guitar construction, repair, setup, and fine instrument care.
During that program, Jeff built two guitars from scratch — an experience that gave him a deeper understanding of how instruments are designed, assembled, adjusted, and brought to life.
He has been working on guitars ever since.
Outside of guitar work, Jeff works in construction and is married with two daughters. That background shows in the way he approaches every instrument: practical, detail-oriented, patient, and built around doing the job right.
Whether it is a setup, repair, fret adjustment, electronics issue, or custom project, Jeff treats every guitar with care and respect.
